The resort also has a poolside bar with a variety of food, local beer, and wine. Nothing is quite as relaxing as basking in the sun with a drink in hand, taking in the beautiful mountain views. The pool is open Memorial through Labor Day.

We also have a court system that consists of a fenced-in basketball & tennis/ pickleball court, volleyball net, three sets of horseshoes, all fully lit when requested. Trail System

Bring your bikes to Elkhorn Ridge and ride our 4.5-mile trail system. The trailhead is located at the Elkhorn Ridge Development Office on St. Onge Road. If you don't have your bikes, the trail is perfect for hikers and walkers. There are also two businesses in town (Two-Wheeler Dealer & Rushmore Bikes) that will rent you bikes for the day! Because of its stacked loop system, trail goers can choose their difficulty level by taking the shorter, lower loops, or high-intensity upper loop. If you're looking for a thrill, follow all 4.5 miles along the rim of Polo Creek Canyon. This will give you a wonderful view of the Centennially Valley and the canyon. The trails are open all year long.

The trail also connects the resort with other Elkhorn Ridge locations such as the golf course, Miller Creek Pub, or the travel center. Whether you're out for a short stroll with your dog, or you've got the whole family out on the bikes for an afternoon, the Elkhorn Ridge trail system is sure to keep you occupied and exercised.

Buffalo Tours

Six historic homesteads are located on the 4,750 acres, all of which were acquired by Henry Frawley throughout the late 1800's and early 1900's. The Frawley Ranch has been listed on the National Registry of Historic Places since 1974, and in 1977 was named a National Historic Landmark by the National Park Service.Today, the Frawley Ranch consists of six original homesteads and small buffalo herd.
